Anti-wrinkle injections primarily work but using a prescription-only medication called 'botulinium toxin' to relax underlying facial muscles.
There are many different indications for using anti-wrinkle treatments, and not all of them are actually to soften wrinkles! In addition relaxing muscle contractions there is also an effect on the sweat glands and oil prodcution in the skin. This means that this treatment can also help reduce excessive sweating and also improves overlying skin texture.
